ABOUT OUR OWNER
Kevin Blake is a seven year United States Air Force Veteran. Kevin served in the Air Force as a Fuels Service Technician; 4 years in active duty and 3 years in the Wyoming Air National Guard. Kevin was Basic Military Training Honor Graduate and was also selected to the MacDill AFB Cadre team in 2007-2008 to train overseas bound personnel in the Law of Armed Conflict. Kevin’s Military service included two tours of duty overseas.
While living in Colorado, Kevin was a heavy equipment Field Service Technician for G4S Fleet Services, subcontracting for the Weld County Colorado Government. In addition to maintaining over 300 pieces of equipment, he would also assist in the repair and maintenance of the County Sheriff vehicles and Commercial Trucks. Kevin also learned the automotive industry from growing up inside the family car business in Homestead, FL.
Kevin is also a certified Gunsmith by trade among other things. Four years Kevin managed his Colorado Business ‘Blake’s Refinishing Service LLC’ before returning home to FL. Blake’s specialized in weapon repair, building, customization and refinishing. Because of Kevin’s business experience he also learned marketing from the ground up and endured multiple crash courses in Web and graphics design.
Throughout the years Kevin has worked in many different carrier fields including as a Wildland Firefighter in the western United States with the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management.
While in high school Kevin used to construct homes in Northern Nevada for a Non-Profit Organization called Citizens for Affordable homes. This was not just carpentry, but the construction process included every aspect of a home’s construction. Kevin is also a certified welder, fabricator and has a high mechanical aptitude in many different fields.
Before going into the Air Force Kevin worked for Ocala’s own Stokes Electric Company for a short time and upon leaving Active Duty Kevin worked for Reeves Electric in North Ogden, UT. Combined with his construction experience, Kevin’s electrical experience extends into the commercial and residential sectors.
One interesting thing about our owner is he was attending civilian flight school while stationed in Ogden, UT. Kevin was a helicopter pilot flying the R-22 and R-44 Platforms.
Another interesting thing about our owner is his love for Talk Radio. Kevin is also a Talk Radio host, but got his start as a guest on multiple shows in Colorado. Kevin is a Second Amendment Activist and was the Author of a passed law in Colorado known as the Weld County Firearms Protection Code. With the radio experience this has honed Kevin’s Audio and Video editing skills, but he is always striving to learn more every day.
Kevin is truly a Jack of all trades, but what defines him is the Oath he swore as an Airman to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Kevin believes that even after being honorably discharged, he is still here to serve his fellow country men and women. Kevin also enjoys working with Police and is a member of the Constitutional Sheriff’s and Peace Officers Association; an organization dedicated to the restoration of the country via Police and Sheriff Departments. Kevin is also a member of Gun Owners of America and serves as the Public Relations Director for National ERT.
